Grounded in Routine

Grounded in Routine

Grounded In Routine

As fall settles in, mornings are cooler, evenings darker, and our days begin to shift into new rhythms. It’s the perfect reminder that routines aren’t just habits — they’re anchors that keep us grounded when everything around us changes.

This summer, I started testing the idea of routine with my family.

We each tried something simple:

  • The kids ran every morning.
  • I walked daily.
  • We added lemon water to our mornings.
  • And together, we committed to 20 sit-ups and 10 push-ups a day.

Different routines, done in different ways. But the result was the same: everyone felt better. We each found a rhythm, and it gave our days some grounding during the busy summer months.

That’s when it became clear: routines matter. They don’t have to be big or complicated. It’s the small, repeatable things that make the difference.

When I first started Luke+Logan, that was always the vision — to add something positive to your day. The very first product came from a real need: my son starting his day with a shower that too often left his skin dry and irritated. That wasn’t a great way to start the day, and I wanted to fix it.

Now, I’ve been asking myself: what else belongs in our routines? What do we really need to make daily life better? Not just more “stuff,” but the essentials that truly add value.

That’s what we’re exploring at Luke+Logan. We’ve been researching, testing, and learning how routines shape our lives — and how we can create things that make those routines stronger.

We have some exciting things coming. But for now, here’s my hope: maybe one of these small ideas — a walk, a glass of lemon water, a simple set of push-ups — will add to your day in a positive way.

This October, find one small routine to ground your day. Because at the end of the day, routine wins.
